Last September, Jack released his debut EP, Revival. June 2019 Jack released a live album recorded at famed Niles City Sound in Fort Worth, TX. He has been called a “musical phenomenon” (Buddy Magazine) a “Texas force" (Paper City Magazine) “a singer-songwriter well beyond his years” (Baton Rouge Advocate) an "old soul” (Fort Worth Weekly) and “amazing to watch” (DFW.com). Inspired by folk, rock, and blues legends, Jack started performing original music at the age of nine and has already shared the stage with Ray Wylie Hubbard, Bruce Robison, Will Kimbrough, and Hayes Carll. Jack Barksdale is a 12-year-old singer/songwriter from Texas. His dear friend, Mickey Newbury, invited him to the first of several FBISF. How fun is that? Joe also has songs coming out by John Anderson and Gene Watson. Yola has also been nominated for Americana album of the year, competing alongside Joe’s good friend, John Prine. As of this writing, Joe has an album with two of his songs on it by Yola that is number 4 on the Americana charts. Joe is currently collaborating with Dan Auerbach and artists that he is producing. After a long break, Joe continues to perform at festivals and listening rooms across the country and his new songs are, once again, in the charts. Joe wrote for, recorded with, and played for Crystal Gale, Don Williams, Gene Watson, Johnny Cash, Glen Campbell, Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings, Charley Pride, Ray Price, and countless others. When Joe arrived in Nashville, his unique jazz-inspired bass style set him apart as one of the most in-demand session players in town. In the seventies and eighties, Joe was always in the music charts with number 1’s and top tens. Joe Allen is a legendary bass player and songwriter born in Waco, TX.
